Also, if you've got a 17km range, you'll be tempted to shoot at targets 17km away, and with those arcs, you'll likely only hit BB captains who've forgotten what the rudder does. I know some people like Advanced Fire Training, but for me, Demolition Expert is far more useful- one, more fires, and two, it's more useful on every following USN cruiser, whereas AFT loses half of its benefit once you move to the Pepsi. I've found that her sweet spot is in that 10-13km band, as it lets you fire accurately, but retain the ability to dodge incoming fire (5.8s rudder shift time with all the bells and whistles contributes greatly to this). Once you get it down, you can work around her main weakness and really exploit the strengths- volume and strength of fire, and speed. The guns fire slower shells than the Omaha, so it takes a bit of adjustment at first. One thing I know is that it is the player that is most important as to a ship's performance. tier but I am confused about it and not sure I want it. The Cleveland is next in line for me on the U.S. I have actually done better in the Phoenix. Debates about the Cleveland appear on this forum weekly.
